Valeo: The Engine Sensor Specialist for the Aftermarket

 Engine Sensor Specialist
Valeo continues to lead the aftermarket with its extensive range of engine sensors. With nearly 1,600 sensor references in Europe, Valeo's portfolio meets evolving market demands and covers a wide range of applications, including hybrid vehicles.

Your One-Stop Shop Solution

When it comes to engine sensors, Valeo is the one-stop shop solution for the aftermarket with a portfolio of nearly 1,600 sensors in Europe. Valeo draws on decades of experience to offer a range that meets changing market expectations.

An Extended Camshaft and Crankshaft Range

Over the past few years, Valeo has extended its camshaft and crankshaft range considerably. 180 new references were launched in 2023 and 85 new references have been added since the end of April 2024.

New references cover key hybrid vehicle applications such as the Hyundai Kona Hybrid 48V 2020 and the Citroën C5X Plug-in-Hybrid 2023.

These new additions bring Valeo’s Camshaft and Crankshaft engine sensor range to 570 references, comprehensively covering more than 230 million vehicles across Europe.

Enlarged Exhaust Gas Temperature Range

In May 2024, Valeo enlarged its exhaust gas temperature (EGT) sensor range, with a huge extension of 145 references. This brought Valeo’s total portfolio for EGT sensors to 265, covering 79 million vehicles in Europe.

By increasing its market coverage, Valeo now covers new hybrid applications such as Audi’s Q5 Sportback Mild-Hybrid 2021 and Volvo’s XC60 II Mild-hybrid 2020.

More Mass Airflow Sensors in June!

In June 2024, Valeo released 150 new mass airflow meter (MAF) sensors. By upping the references for MAFs to 240 — and thereby covering 166 million vehicles in Europe — Valeo aims to help distributors strengthen their portfolios.

This release in June covers new hybrid applications such as Volvo’s XC60 II T8 Plug-In Hybrid 2022 and Peugeot’s 408 II Hybrid 225 2022.

The Aftermarket’s Best Friend

With its massive sensor development strategy, Valeo has been addressing and consolidating its air, fuel, combustion, and exhaust segments. The goal is clear . . . to meet every last need of the aftermarket!
